Ayr Utd's Kyle Ure and Jude Bonnar have left the club on loan to Celtic's Scottish Championship rivals Crewe Alexandra and Arbroath respectively. The duo will spend the season gaining experience away from Somerset Park. Kyle Ure, a Scotland Under-21 international, has joined Crewe Alexandra in League Two. He made 19 appearances for Ayr last term and provided one assist. Jude Bonnar, also aged 20, has joined Arbroath on loan in the Scottish Championship. He made 30 appearances in the division last season for Arbroath’s league rivals. Both deals are for the full season and are intended to help the players gain further senior experience away from Celtic Park. Ayr Utd are currently 2nd in the Championship, 4 points behind leaders Partick, with a recent form of DW. They have scored 3 goals and conceded 1 this season, with their next fixture against Queen's Park on January 2, 2027.
